The Aircraft Crash Sites of the South Wales hill regions
The hills and mountains of Wales can be a wonderful place to be on a hot summer's day, with the skylarks singing, the sound of a mountain stream tumbling over waterfalls, but on a cold wet day it can be a very unfriendly place, especially if your aircraft has crashed and you are badly injured.

Come on a walk with us to visit 5 aircraft that were unlucky and never made it home.
 Lancaster W4929crashed 5th September 1943
Anson L9149crashed 17th January 1939
Vampire VZ106crashed 9th October 1953
Wellington BJ697crashed 25th September 1942
Wellington MF509 crashed 20th November 1944

Some of these sites have a great deal of wreckage, at others only small parts remain. The area is rough Mountain terrain.

The price for the 2 days is £330 which includes accommodation, evening meal on Friday and Saturday, Full Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, Packed lunch for Saturday and Sunday. All walks are led by a Mountain Leader Training Board Qualified Mountain Leader.
